repetition

As in architecture, the line is an abstraction of something else. The line has various meanings, all contained within a simple graphic sing.

The perfection of this content encounters imperfection through a simple concept: a straight line moving from top to bottom and from left to right. This basic exercise reveals the changes that occur within this clearly defined structure. Imperfection generates tension, movement, shapes, and ultimately, beauty.

There are no prefigured forms or prefigured processes.

Art resides in a committed practice and dedicated approach, where the line is repeated over and over again.
